Morris Area Girls Lacrosse Club
No prior experience necessary. Professional
coaching staff includes a former captain of
the US National Team.
Spring Programs:
- 2nd Grade. Six weeks of introductory fundamental techniques and skills. Sessions
are held on weekday afternoons and Saturday afternoons.
- 3rd – 4th Grade. In-town recreational league: This is a non-competitive, skills and
techniques program! Exhibition games played against teams from other towns.
Sessions are held on weekday and Saturday afternoons.
- 5th/6th and 7th/8th Grade Traveling Teams. Teams play in the NJ Junior Girls Lacrosse
League against teams from other towns.
NO CUTS! Everyone makes a team. Games are played weeknights after 6 PM with weeknight
and Saturday afternoon practices. Registration will take place Saturday, November 17th between the hours of 9 AM

Morris United Soccer Club
The Morristown United Soccer Club, an independent association has both competitive traveling teams and intramural league play. The intramural league includes both boys and girls enrolled in grades kindergarten through ninth. For information, call 973-898-1977, or visit the web site. Please note that the Morris Township Recreation Department cannot take sign ups.
Junior Colonial's Youth Hockey Club
The Youth Hockey club is open to all youth in Township of Morris, Morristown, & Morris Plains from 5 - 17 years of age. Five levels compete against 14 other towns in the Morris County League. The season runs from October through March with one practice & one game per week. Practices take place at Twin Oaks Ice Arena on Columbia Turnpike in Morris Township. Players ages 4 - 7 can register for the clinic where they will learn to skate and play hockey.

T-Ball
Registration will be held the 1st Saturday in February from 9 AM-1 PM at the Morris
Township Municipal Building. With parent volunteer coaches, the successful T- Ball league
has grown. Boys and girls between the ages of 5-7 are eligible to play. Children must be 5
years of age by August 31, 2009. Emphasis is placed on instruction, recreation, and
sportsmanship. Parents/guardians must register in person & provide a copy of the child’s birth
certificate.
In fairness to all, sign up is first come, first served. Please arrange carpools
before sign up date & arrange to sign up friends together on same team to avoid
switching teams later.
DEADLINE FOR ANY CHANGES IS APRIL 1, 2009.
Registration fee is $10.00 per child payable at time of registration.
Girls Softball League Registration
Don’t miss the registration sign up on the last Saturday in January at
the Township of Morris Municipal Building, 50 Woodland Avenue from 9AM-1 PM.
Registrants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Encourage your friends to
sign up with you on this date.
Registration fee is $10.00 per child.
Girls in grades 2-5 are eligible for the minor league which will meet every Monday
from April through June. All players are invited to participate in a clinic with
the girl’s softball team from the College of St. Elizabeth.
Morristown National Little League-Girl’s Softball Division
Morristown National Little League-Girl’s Softball Division will hold sign ups at the
Township of Morris Municipal Building on the last Saturday in January and the first Saturday in February 2nd from 9 AM TO 1 PM for girls ages 8 to 15.

MORRISTOWN WILDCATS FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING
Registration is open to all Township of Morris, Morristown, and Morris Plains children.
The season is from August 15th to November 30th. Registration will be available after
April 1st. on the Web and in-person at the Township municipal building
on Saturday March 28, 2010 and Saturday April 18, 2010 from 10 AM to 12 Noon.
Children must be 6 years old by 9/1/10 as follows:
Flag Football: 6 years old to 3rd grade.
Tackle Football: 4th - 8th grades.
Cheerleading: 6 years old - 8th grade.

JUNIOR COLONIALS FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING
Since 1966, The Junior Colonial Athletic Club has offered Football & Cheerleading programs for children ages 6 to 14. (No experience necessary). Practice begins in early August; games are played weekly starting early September, and continue thru mid-November. The Club offers:
- Flag football for 6 & 7 year olds (games played with an 11 man line on a full size field)
- Tackle Football 8-14 year olds
- Cheerleading 6-14 year olds
All programs are travel teams and play against other towns in Morris County. The club participates in the premier Morris County Midget Football League. The football and cheerleading programs slowly prepare kids for high school level competition focusing on fundamentals.
Registration is available online or in-person (check the web site in the spring for in-person registration dates). The Junior Colonials home field is Cornine Field (by the Streeter Pool Complex). MORRISTOWN COLONIALS AMERICAN FLAG RUGBY
American Flag Rugby is a COED-NON-CONTACT youth program for children entering grades K-
9. This 5th year program joins 9 other local town programs that are managed by non-profit, Morris
Rugby. The emphasis is on fun & sportsmanship. Boys and girls play in 4 age groups that teach
the conventions of the game at age appropriate levels. The 6-week program will run from June 14th
- July 24th with practices at 6 PM -7:30 PM at the Woodland School Fields. Matches are held on
Saturday mornings. All players get to play in matches whether or not they have been able to attend
practices.
